Kvarner has being always across its thousands of years of history, one of most interesting parts of Europe. To join together nature, climate, culture and the happy mentality of its inhabitants, this islands turned to be a very popular holiday spot.

The islands of Cres and Lošinj are situated in a part of this archipelago called Apsyrtides, named after the heroine Apsyrta, yet from ancient times when Greeks leaved in this part of Mediterranean. The old Greek legend says that, this archipelago appeared after the death of Apsyrta who was betrayed by her own sister Medeja and which parts of the body ware thrown on the sea.
Around the islands of Cres and Lošinj, are situated yet 36 small islands and for sure the most interesting ones are: Susak (the island of sand, bamboo and wine), Ilovik (the island of flowers), Unije (the island of love), Mali and Veli Srakane…
Because of Lošinj’s geographic position it is also possible to go visit Krk, Rab and the north part of the Dalmatian archipelago, the islands of Silba and Olib.
Between Cres and Lošinj lays a 4000 years old town named Osor which passed through five different historic periods: Greek, Illyrian, Roman, Venetian and Austro-Hungarian.
The town of Cres also has to offer its ancient culture and history as so the smaller towns on its surroundings, Valun, Lubenice and Martinscica with its Mediterranean soul.
